Anyone got this yet, thought it merited a thread of its own. Very nice new wavey disco...

lullaby for Robert remix is also worth a listen.

I really like Invisible College, which was a single a while ago. Somehow stretches a two-chord acoustic guitar riff into an 11-minute synth epic.

Had forgotten the album was coming out.

definitely interested in hearing this

I like it. Only listened once, though, so the most I can come up with so far is that "I like it".

Just listening to this; maybe not the most apposite comparison but it's a lot more engaging than the Wolfram and Johan Ageborn albums that are being repped for on other threads. "Invisible College" and "Beachy Head" almost soothe my despair at the lack of a new Studio album.

it's definitely a lot more serious than the johan...i agree. tho i like the johan, it's a bit patchy compared to the sally shapiro records.

this is very nice so far, altho i'm listening on rhapsody and two of the tracks aren't available for streaming for whatever reason

The start of this feels kinda generic but it gets better as it gets progressively trippier.

imo first track is brilliant...and so forth...

this album has definitely been treating me well so far, stuff like this just seems sorta undeniable to me:

unfortunately i had to pass on the vinyl version of the album, which omits tracks and was still $32 for some reason at amoeba sf

btw thanks for making a thread for this, i think there was some brief talk of it on the balearic thread a few weeks back but it deserves more attention... and isn't that balearic imo

three weeks pass...

Just bought this and listened to it for the first time... Loving it.

one month passes...

Invisible College is such a jam. Looped acoustic guitar riffs suit this kind of music so well.
