...I mean...if you were, like, saying "here are the tracks that make the diary a much better album" or "here's what the diary has the the fix doesn't" or even, if you gotta insist on goin the overrated/overpraised/how-indie-dudes-talk-all-day route, "here is why the shit that most people agree is kanye in great form on the fix is actually wack, and I will now hip you to why it's wack" instead of "oh, it's kanye...true heads hate on kanye" (when you know and I know that when the fix dropped every head worth his salt considered kanye a true player & there wasn't really anything corny about it) then that'd be cool...but that is not what yr doin...you know?

its more that kanye is an NY-approved critically respected artist who 'legitimized' scarface to a degree among ppl who had considered him 'ok for the south' before that, thus the 5 mic source award, thus the average ilxor appreciation

its a good record & some ppl -- like yourself -- i would have no problem w/ voting for it w/ well-argued positions. but the reason it won this poll doesnt have anything to do w/ 'convincing arguments' & everything to do w/ the major label def jam record w/ kanye beats getting more attention from a coastally biased rap media + critics deference to such
