so I go to the Freaky Trigger site and there's some sort of business site there in it's place. What up?!!!

James Blount (James Blount), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 05:09 (twenty-three years ago)

I get the FT front page, but with Xs in place of pics. All of the non-NYLPM links I've tried, however, give me 404. What IS going on?

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 05:22 (twenty-three years ago)

yeah, I get NYLPM fine, everything else - bubkes.

James Blount (James Blount), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 05:24 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm still getting it fine, and I'm still able to get in via FTP which is my acid test for something being really wrong.

Tom (Groke), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 20:03 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm getting it fine too. Perhaps you people are on the other internet.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 20:05 (twenty-three years ago)

I can get in fine, but yesterday it asked me for a password, I just hit cancel.

jel -- (jel), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 20:06 (twenty-three years ago)

No! Yesterday I was getting the same thing - this weird corporate BT page. And the day before that, I was getting Freaky Trigger except the images were broken and it was asking me for a username/password.

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 20:06 (twenty-three years ago)

yeah, a little while after I posted it went back to normal. For a period there though it kept diverting to a business site. Strange.

James Blount (James Blount), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 20:09 (twenty-three years ago)

BT in dodgy service shocker.

Tom (Groke), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 20:13 (twenty-three years ago)

I've gotten the BT Internet page in the past too...about a week or so ago, so this is obviously an ongoing problem. I was going to post something about this but then it seemed to get better so I figured it was a short-term anomaly.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 20:15 (twenty-three years ago)

And where is the new content!!??

jm (jtm), Wednesday, 5 February 2003 05:31 (twenty-three years ago)

and now it's the weird BT corporate page again.

James Blount (James Blount), Wednesday, 5 February 2003 17:13 (twenty-three years ago)

Yep. It was working this morning.

Graham (graham), Wednesday, 5 February 2003 17:14 (twenty-three years ago)

jm the new content is being coded up RIGHT NOW! (To my great relief).

Tom (Groke), Wednesday, 5 February 2003 17:33 (twenty-three years ago)

102 Beats That?

James Blount (James Blount), Wednesday, 5 February 2003 17:37 (twenty-three years ago)

Or the Focus Group perhaps?

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Wednesday, 5 February 2003 17:39 (twenty-three years ago)

No and no - sorry!

Tom (Groke), Wednesday, 5 February 2003 17:43 (twenty-three years ago)

DAMN!

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Wednesday, 5 February 2003 18:07 (twenty-three years ago)

jm (jtm), Wednesday, 5 February 2003 19:44 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm working on a great Helloween piece from NYLPM, but in the meantime you'll have to make do with my musings on some video's I've seen recently.

jel -- (jel), Wednesday, 5 February 2003 19:59 (twenty-three years ago)

I still don't know what's up. But my web account is saying that I signed up on 15th Jan 2001 which is wrong (I signed up in April 2001) - if it believes that then it means I probably need to re-order the domain stuff.

Tom (Groke), Thursday, 6 February 2003 10:11 (twenty-three years ago)

now you believe me! (Colin Powell, 2003)

James Blount (James Blount), Thursday, 6 February 2003 10:15 (twenty-three years ago)

I still don't see anything either.

Dan I., Thursday, 6 February 2003 10:23 (twenty-three years ago)

Phew - the domain registration people know it's registered from April. So it is BT cocking about, what a surprise.

Tom (Groke), Thursday, 6 February 2003 10:43 (twenty-three years ago)

I've just got the BT Open World site as well, after not having any problems getting FT before.

James Ball (James Ball), Friday, 7 February 2003 09:14 (twenty-three years ago)

Slightly off topic. Since yesterday on the history toolbar all the threads are now called ilXor.com instead of their thread title. Which makes it difficult if you're trying to find a particular thread.

Is this a browser issue or have you done something to the threads?

Billy Dods (Billy Dods), Friday, 7 February 2003 09:34 (twenty-three years ago)

that got rectified i thought!

gareth (gareth), Friday, 7 February 2003 09:45 (twenty-three years ago)

Yeah, they're back again. Hurrah for the gods of ilX.
