I'd think that anyone who flagrantly advertised the need for sex is quite clearly unattractive in the first place... it still doesn't keep me from perusing the place (I'm disgusting, yes) every once in a while. Curious about this (the whole "pic-for-pic" process), I perused the internet for a relatively unknown handsome actor... finally came up with the doctor from Firefly and found a very reasonable candid pic. I mail it to her and get spammed the fuck out for the next 10 days, emails coming from 432978052 different email addresses so that I was never able to identify just one to mark as spam. For whatever reason, the onslaught stopped today.

It really has no significance... I go by different variations of "kelp" depending on website, and to separate them (for no particular reason other than that I can) I tack on a random word. I will admit to having perused the w4m/ce CL postings from time to time very recently. Thing is, I just got out of a six year relationship, which itself was on the back of another 3+ year one, so I'm ready to remain single for a good long minute. The trick is making sure said 'minute' does not also entail inadvertent celibacy. The main dilemma I've encountered in this situation is that, anytime u go on the internet looking anything nsa/m4w (CL included), ppl basically react like yr some gross old perv likely to end up getting busted by Chris Hansen or something. So fuck it, I guess I'll start going out to the bars on weeknights and such. I may not be looking for an official gf just yet, but fuck being alone all winter too.

I've had several NSA hookups from CG. A couple really great, where both of us were on the same page as far as what we expected, most mediocre, and one that was pretty much the worst "date" I've ever had.

plain old hooking up is fine and all, but I'm all for having some of the basic courtship rituals intact, actually, just so long as boundaries could be agreed upon and upheld - alas, this seems to be an impossibly elusive concept at this point. Its been 6 years since I've been single, but I never found this to be true as a straight male. Casual "poon" (or even just "hooking up") was almost non-existent once I left college. 99% of the girls I ended up being involved with in any sort of casual basis were people I met through friends or already knew somehow. Striking up conversations with random strangers in public always always blew up in my face.

I mean, obviously I'm the common denominator there and it says more about me than anything else, but I've never really felt like I was horribly awkward in social situations. I mean, getting to know people and making friends? I'm generally pretty awesome at that. But if I've ever gone into it with any inkling of sexual attraction, it just never happened.
