I've got two, namely

That Doom feature in Wax Poetics was interesting. He was all like, "I'm just a regular guy

which I thought was too boring to post, and

GOD CUTTY WHY DON'T YOU QUIT

which was supposed to be a funny post on the lose weight thread, but I thought it might be interpreted as serious.

I keep deleting my posts before I post them!

yeah they're mostly me telling people off and i'm not going to post them here--i just write them out to feel better and then delete

Mr. Que, Tuesday, 15 September 2009 19:22 (ten years ago) link

out of context: "searches for 'crepey' and 'ban' have provided me more than enough fodder"

now I'm having second thoughts about posting that ...

this is the turd (this is the turd) that the lord hath made (that the lord hath made)
i will rejoice (i will rejoice) and be glad in it (and be glad in it)

and imagine fozzy bear singing the parentheticals.

That phrase is interesting because it adjusts the emphasis so the sentence is more iambic. But it would have to because

I was gonna post on the '"500 Days of Summer" thread that I thought it would make a good back story for Cobra Commander, but I didn't feel like searching for the thread, coz what if someone already made the comment? I'd have to do 'edit' 'find' 'cobra', and display all posts. So, I posted it on facebook anyway.

I ♠ my display name (sarahel), Sunday, 27 September 2009 03:10 (ten years ago) link

I don't know? It's got a woman in the title, but it's two years old and the reads are on-site reads. It doesn't make sense. The simpsons porn one only partly makes sense, but a lot of those reads are site reads too. Wait, I get that one, because it persists because of the most read threads page working in concert with google hits. But the other one with the girl I just don't get, unless it's a lesser version of the same phenomenon.

Fact: www.dhmo.org is a website dedicated to that stupid joke your chemistry teacher makes in high school about dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) being the most abundant, potentially dangerous chemical in the world.

Fact: according to double top-secret web analytics I saw for epa.g0v today, the number two referrer to EPA's website in the past 3 months was www.dhmo.org, and it's been in the top 5 for the past year.

But Brian had to suffer for his art. One of the scenes involved celebrating England winning the 1966World Cup, with proud Scot Brian having to cheer as he was passed by a Ford Anglia full of flag-waving England fans.

Brian said: "We were filming the 1960s scenes on the last day and, on the last take, the director said that, as I was a Scotland fan, I could make a rude sign at the fans in the car as they passed by.

"They gave me a DVD of the advert after filming and it included a version with that take in it."
