HE'S READY:

Ashley Williams, Kevin Mirallas, Cuco Martina and Nikola Vlasic have been told to train away from Everton’s first team squad by Marco Silva.

— paul joyce (@_pauljoyce) August 2, 2018

Classic AVB move here from Silva. This will end well.

xps Haven't Stoke signed Ashley Williams?

groovypanda, Thursday, 2 August 2018 09:40 (six months ago) Permalink

fuck me, didn't realise that old football hooligan Ronnie Jepson was at Cardiff with Warnock. I once saw him making an absolute pissed up prick out himself on a train and would say he is a deeply unpleasant and violent idiot to say the least. Welcome to the Prem lads!

calzino, Thursday, 2 August 2018 09:46 (six months ago) Permalink

im over this season already tbh

Shouldn't the EPL be mentioned somewhere in the title? Or has the EPL just swallowed football whole? (Silly question)

Father Ted in Forkhandles (Tom D.), Thursday, 2 August 2018 10:00 (six months ago) Permalink

I can't believe Cardiff are starting a Premier campaign with Lee Peltier at RB and Danny Ward amongst the forwards, no wonder Warnock will gone by October.

calzino, Thursday, 2 August 2018 10:05 (six months ago) Permalink

Warnock is one of these managers where the same backroom and same garbage players follow him about from club to club like a bad smell. Yeah he's had loads of promotions and I used to love him when I was a kid (early 20's tbf!), but it is probably a good thing that his crude methods are just not good enough for the Prem.

calzino, Thursday, 2 August 2018 10:14 (six months ago) Permalink

Literally everything about Cardiff is unpleasant and I hope they go straight back down with the lowest point score in history.

Lots of chatter about Spurs bidding £30m for Lewis Cook, who is exactly the sort of player we could do with and one I can see really improving under Poch.

Matt DC, Thursday, 2 August 2018 10:27 (six months ago) Permalink

Too big for ILF.

I've never wanted Aberdeen to win a football match more:

As a Dons fan I know posted the other day, when Burnley qualified for Europe all they had was a dream and 120 million quid.

Joe Hart + Ben Gibson look done deals to Burnley. Both of them passing Dyche's stringent criteria for what makes a solid Burnley signing.

we've now beaten 3 decent top tier Euro sides(Lyon,Bolagna,RB Liepzig) 3-1, 2-1, and finally 3-0 just now. We're ready!

Middlesborough seem to be having a very FFP friendly window, probably watching the QPR situation. I expect us to be linked with Caveleiro .. again, when this is confirmed.

calzino, Monday, 6 August 2018 09:50 (six months ago) Permalink

That seems 50/50. I don't think we *need* to move Cav on but obviously the speculation won't go away. My guess is - not this window. But we'll see, there's no sentiment in our transfer policy now.

the Joao looked at Jonny (Noodle Vague), Monday, 6 August 2018 10:02 (six months ago) Permalink

i think if our Limbombe deal truly is dead, and he 's off to the Geordies, then there will be another attempt to sign Cav.

Mourinho, 56, will provide analysis of Champions League games in the fortnightly football programme.

"I'm going to talk about football on RT. What else did you think I was going to do?" he says in a promotional video.

I dunno maybe bludgeon Chris Williamson and George Galloway to death while you are in same studio ... and then kill yourself.

ɪmˈpəʊzɪŋ (darraghmac), Tuesday, 19 February 2019 18:49 (four days ago) Permalink

On the brink by the looks of things. This feels like the end for Chelsea - Abramovich clearly checking out of proceedings and looking to sell, Hazard on his way and a possible transfer ban as well. The team looks like a real pushover for the first time in maybe 15 years or so. Why would any manager join the club in that state? I mean apart from the payoff obviously.

Matt DC, Tuesday, 19 February 2019 19:54 (four days ago) Permalink

ɪmˈpəʊzɪŋ (darraghmac), Friday, 22 February 2019 10:49 (yesterday) Permalink

No no, it goes like this: Turns out they aren't allowed to sign a new manager either, Abramovich takes personal charge, discovers he is a natural at this, Chelsea win next 10 titles, then first 20 in European Superleague, then first 50 in World Superleague.

mfktz (Camaraderie at Arms Length), Friday, 22 February 2019 11:08 (yesterday) Permalink

It could be the beginning of something beautiful. Finally put that youth academy to use, for one. But I'm sure they're not smart enough to see this as an opportunity.
