i've gotten it a couple more times today, sometimes it goes away with a refresh, sometimes it doesn't and then goes away after a couple minutes. given that it seems more likely they're testing something than its a bug

yeah i read that they were testing that, so dumb just let the people who want the chronological timeline have it, im sure the vast majority of just use the default

ugh, the post going around about the pizza place in ohio with the owner that gave all the workers the "profit" (spoiler: it was not the profit) from the day to the workers, who then earned $78/hour for that day, leading to the conclusion that the owner could pay their workers that much every day if they really wanted to

all of that, so much of it veering toward something that is the truth, but it's all based upon shitty reporting, shitty headline writing, a screengrab of the article rather than a link to the real one, and social media.

i looked at the original story to confirm that the headline was wrong. it was not the "entire day of profits", it was the entire day of revenue: sales + tips. this single paragraph tells you all you need to know to make an estimate for how much business they usually do and about how many workers they have:

On a typical Monday, they do about 100 orders. This week, they did 220 orders, which translated to over $6,000 in sales and over $1,000 in tips, all of which went back to the employees. Each worker made about $78 an hour for that shift.
