feels: whole ep was very *pew pew pew BOOM pewpew*. i liked fett alright, thought the whole speaking rock needed a little less mystery about what was happening to grody, and yeah, less ridiculous, wooden "ok kid, let's go..."*BOOOIIIIINGG!* the bad guy was sufficiently cruel and hateful, poor grody. warden seemed a little to comfortable, would like to see her attempting to meet expectations in her job but hating it/feeling actual stress a little more. like, you didn't know she could have an earnest side, and there it is, but it is NOT HER. more clearly.

I liked the episode quite a bit, but it was basically catnip for those of us that tracked Boba Fett more through the Legends novels. I remember at even 8 being annoyed that he died so easily in ROTJ, such was the legend of "bad ass Boba Fett" on the elementary school playgrounds. As noted above it was mostly due to the brief glimpses we had in ESB and the awesome action figure, plus he had one of the cooler ships at the time.

i always liked temuera morrison, probably stemming more from my irrational love of the star wars: bounty hunter video game than from anything he did in attack of the clones.

I felt real stupid in this last episode cos literally saw the ship in the sky and said "hmm, that is just like Boba's ship" and then the Fennec Shand said she was saved by Boba Fett, and then Boba said his dad was Jango Fett and it was only then that I said OH IT'S BOBA HE'S ALIVE

I've seen scattered episodes of Clone Wars before, but just started over watching it through from the start with my son. Digging it a lot so far.

Warning you that the first two seasons are kinda dogs with some good points, but the show gets better quickly around season 3. By the end I didn't regret investing in it, though it took me years to finally finish it

man, i have a hard time with shows like that. it's like making nachos and saying "well the outer layer is all feces and pubic hair but once you eat all that the bottom is really fuckin' tasty"

That's why it helps to watch it with an excited 9 year-old, he gets so excited by the cameos and references that it still ends up kinda fun to watch, even during the slow episodes.

I fear massive diminishing returns.
