To be honest it's a much better thread than I thought it was going to be (the potential for abuse apologism was high but seems to have been mostly avoided). But it got horribly personal and I don't want to step into that.

I was going to make an effort to follow that thread but then that happened. Both of those posters can be quite interesting but perhaps a bit volatile, to say the least.

God will someone, perhaps Sarahell, just message me who these people with the new display names might be? I've been here 06, started taking longer breaks in 2011, cut it out most by 2012...and then came back seven years later.

It's a weird feeling to feel like an old hand and a noob at the same time.

That thread was *about* people's own experiences, personal relationships to art and where people's own "lines" are drawn. It's gonna have posts that are about the people posting them.
