Zing Touch: ILX now ON IPHONE (and ipod tooches too)

bookmarks in zing show a preview of the latest post in the thread underneath the thread title, takes up a lot of room and often contains spoilers.

ahhh. i dont use bookmarks.

i mostly just rely on the dots! So on mobile ILX is kinda hard to navigate at all haha.

Having SNA show up before / above bookmarks would be a massive improvement to this user’s experience

Not sure why but the “help me learn Japanese” thread will not load any answers at all on iOS 12. Everything else fine apart from the occasional lockup.

my minor complaint is embedded twitter vids won’t play but I’ve found workarounds so it’s v v low priority

Why doesn’t ILX on iphone/safari warn you that other people have posted when you hit submit post?

I think that was put in because the OG Safari on Edge was so slow that you could get caught in xpost warnings forever on slow threads. Could probably take that out now.

Yes. Out of 30-40 bookmarked threads that's the only one.

Just weighing in to say I'm on iPhone 5S/12.2 and filmforum bookmarks just fine here.

New version rolling out now, mainly small changes:
- There's a dark mode toggle in the homescreen
- You can now swipe a bookmark left to set it to the latest message, and right to delete it
- You can now share a post as a link, or open it in your browser (tap a message and hit the share button)
- The single message page now follows the font size set in settings, and looks a bit less 2007.
- Zing copes better if messages have corrupt or bad HTML in them, and lets you open the thread in Safari instead of crashing.
- The keyboard's now quite dark in dark mode

Yes, but haven't fixed it — it doesn't seem to be totally my fault, the tableview is doing something I can't quite explain but I might be able to work around it.

stet, I saw that you added a few versions back a little Zing link at the top of mobile versions. But it just goes to the main page. Is there any chance you could have the app open web links to the actual thread? This would be a great way of effectively adding a search function.
