general rule for life that was drilled into me by my folks (not that they ever followed their own rules, but that is another story !) :

If it were possible to get a list of all your screen names the first thing that would happen would be that someone would start a thread "post a list of all your screen names" and this would result in a lot of long posts. I worry for the search function

disagree, at least on SNA - visual consistency of those makes it really easy to keep track when a thread i'm actively following is lighting back up, versus one that i've bookmarked to sit down and 'catch up with' sometime.

agreed though that the actual 'bookmarks' page is sorted kinda...weird. I assume there's some good reason for that.

My ancient, high-school era domain ceased to exist and now there's a robot there that periodically posts random chunks of my old content, now in blog format, with spam links to online casinos. Would be very interested in whether there's anything I can do about that, especially since it has my name slapped up on it, but in the meantime, yeah, it'd be cool to change my ILX login.

So, the email I use for ILX expired. And so I couldn't log in to ILX. I had to re-activate my email.

It'd be nice if login/user was independent of email...but I do see the reasoning.

I wish there was more room for growth within the organization. I want to make it to that corner office.

I was trying to write a GM script to locally save my existing bookmarks so that I could reset my read/unread threads by deleting all my bookmarks, but to little success. Is the SID a required parameter in the Ajax call?

my number one feature desire is still ways to sort bookmarks by name/date updated/maybe even thread starter?

that should be greasemonkey/userscriptable even without the intercession of stet (not that this helps you immediately anyway, just an observation)

stet, thanks, but deleting is the easy part: I'd also like to be able to restore all my bookmarks without doing it manually!

You'll need to extract the SID to use in your script; the SID will only work for ten minutes before it expires and a new one needs generated; also, it'll only work for you, but that ought not be a problem.

Any easy way to get the SID, or do I have to load a thread to find it?
