Hey I was just thinking it would be nice if when you searched, the page would tell you not just when the threads were started but when the last post was. That way, for example, if there are three threads on ILM about a certain band that just put out a new album, you can see which one people might have been talking about the new album on.

or being able to see in the search results how many answers a thread has so you can automatically open the most popular relevant thread

Gimme 50 or 100 search results per page instead of ten. I'd rather scroll than click (rejected Reynolds Girls lyric).

In long threads, enable loading of say 50 messages at a time instead of having to load them all.

Great idea. Might be nice to have a function that allows you to skip to the next/previous big time jump in a thread as well.

But plz make the 50 post thing optional. That would be maddening for me.

Still want an @ function where you can @ people's user names, and if you've been @ed a little notification appears on the menubar where if you click on it, you're taking to a page with links to the anchor tags within the threads where you were @ed
