Seconding the rooftop jumper thread. Also would like to give props to the entire "Right-Wing Cartoonists" series, especially racial puppetry in right-wing comics, which starts with a pretty interesting post from Ethan.

Also, this poll needs more representative from the threads that aren't actually fun to read but capture mentalism and unnecessary vitriol at their best. I don't think I was around for a lot of the best of these, but I loved egging James Blount on as he baited the masses with class warfare and multivalent name-calling on Robert Polllard played his first solo show last night to a half empty crowd in Athens, GA. Alternately, the Stevie Ray Vaughan thread.
