I thought Zero didn't have a lower jaw. felt bad that people made stupid jokes at his expense when he obviously couldn't enunciate properly.

xp I just find that, at a glance, it doesn't read very well. I've seen it as some kind of gas pump (imagining Goodyear -> Cars -> Gasoline) with the wing being the pump, pointed to the right.

yoel rak (toandos), Thursday, 10 May 2012 06:38 (fourteen years ago)

There's a popular Finnish comic strip that has character who looks like this (the bald guy):

http://www.cupika.fi/images/etusivu.gif http://www.kvaak.fi/images/articles/02092008154249-1.jpg

For the longest time I was wondering, "Why the heck does he have a weird skin flab under his nose?!". Then I happened to read some of the early strips where he was drawn a bit differently, and it turns out he's supposed to have a "boxer's nose": the upper curve is supposed to be the bridge of his nose, and the lower curve is the actual nose. I still get angry at the artist anytime I see the strip in the papers: there's no way the reader can interpret those two bits as part of the same nose!!
