Vic police ministers seem to be like Spinal Tap drummers lately.

There's a war going on between the police and the police union, and murdoch is siding with the latter. I dunno why but I expect it's because it's politically expedient for the Vic Liberal party. I don't know the specifics but have a friend who's close to all this and has watched it play out in detail.
