Same here. I'm one of those weird people who doesn't really like watermelon, but I've always liked watermelon candy and watermelon gum. Dunno why. Think I'd have to vote pineapple though.

As someone allergic to watermelon, I say sit on it, Potsie. Also, fresh peaches are better. And slightly underripe cherry tomatoes eaten while u pick.

btw I just went to the Jolly Rancher web site to see what flavors they still have and I think I've gone insane because that can't possibly say "a real hootenanny wing-dinger of a jubilee"

I have an inordinate amount of respect for whatever ad agency was able to successfully pitch "Whatever life throws at you, #KeepOnSucking!" as a tag line to this brand.

when i was a kid the dentist would clean your teeth, politely yell at you to brush/floss more, then have you sit for some kind of fluoride-y treatment, like 10 minutes each top and bottom teeth. the treatment came in artificial flavors, and the banana was so awful that it haunts me decades later

I recall starburst once removing lemon from the standard lineup of "original" flavors, but I can't find evidence anywhere. Maybe it was all a fantastic dream.

I am outing myself as someone without the resources to regularly visit a dentist (it's been, err, years), but do they still do this?

They still do it but the modern flavors are much less noxious. The old flavors used to give me migraines. Nowadays you have options like "piña colada"
