Eh I dunno if there's a better name to be found, we all have an idea of what the thread is for. I have a category in my head I call "avant-accessible" but it looks pretty corny in writing.

it was kinda an attempt at zoning in on the post-hipster zeitgeist, rolling off to the forest was an attempt at kinda head-nodding towards various emerging trends while also repping for big knut hamsun whos novels seemed to be part of the thing as well. thread didnt really turn out to be good for much although i think it was the first place that 'new for u' showed up on ilx, small distinctions i guess...

"Rolling..." was one of my favourite recent ILM threads because of the clear sense of an underlying curatorial vision. But because that vision felt so personal, I was never sure whether the stuff I posted really fit in.

Alternatively: my understanding is that this thread is a big tent and doesn't preclude more targeted explorations of any particular aesthetic.

i just think having a nice name at the top would be nice but w/e
