I dreamed I was having a conversation with a bunch of people about the death of Mr. Hooper from Sesame Street. I turned to Dom Passantino, who was across a picnic table from me, and said, "RIP Mr. Hooper, heaven needed a shopkeeper from Sesame Street ... amirite?" Unamused, Don said "no."

Dom, I mean.

I don't normally remember my dreams, but I've had some odd ones recently.
In one dream I was at a party, and was introduced to a person I know and their gay partner, but IRL I know they're not gay. Also at the same party, I met Robert H3inl3in on the stairs.
In another dream, I was in the bathroom, and the window was open, and the person in the flat above was trying to swing a tortoise tied to a rope through the window. Once the tortoise was inside, the shell exploded and it turned out to be a robot.
I'm wondering if either of these dreams could be due to ILX being offline for upgrades?

i had a dream that jon, ian and i, as well as some other random ppl and a jason segel looking dude were hanging out in high school, freaks & geeks style.

I dreamed that I subleased J0hn D's house and that it was a giant, oooold, bizarrely decorated mansion in the Carolinas. He left a note reminiscent of the one Mark Asprey leaves the narrator in the beginning of London Fields ("You don't understand, do you my talentless friend? It doesn't matter what anyone writes anymore. The truth doesn't matter and is not wanted."). Then I chose to go through a mazelike treasure-hunt game in some kind of cloister. It ended pretty tragically, and with a phone call to my brother.

First ever ILX dream last night. It was about deeznuts, whose name was really "Chris". He was blond and short and in lol college.

Following on from my bizarre sex dream which involved two women and Dom on the top of a bus (and I want to make it clear that the sex occurred after Dom had left but it was Dom who introduced me to the women so thanks for that) last night I dreamt that I had stumbled on Tombot's great grandfather, a man called Tombotti, who was (according to my dream)a lifeboat coxswain in a small village in somewhere in England that I was walking through (in my dream), there was a memorial to his bravery, but when I read about him in the village hall it turned out that although he was legendary for his daring and indeed died in WW1 doing some brave thing, he was also well know for his explosive temper.

If it turns out that Tom's great grandfather was a lifeboatman I will be seriously freaked out.

I think this also confirms my fears that I am spending too much time on the US election thread ilx.

Yeah, that was weird. Some suggestion of Italian descent maybe linked to my previous ilx dream involving Dom. I'm clearly obsessed.

I had a dream that I was in a college class of some sort and there was a guest lecturer from the UK, who wanted to ascertain our interest in soccer. Gabbneb, who was sitting to the left of me, volunteered that he played in an underwater soccer league. I asked him if there were snorkels involved; he said yes.

A while back after reading committed anti-feminists are among the creepiest people alive imo I dreamed my friend Jinnie gave seminars instructing meek men in the art of picking up women. All I can remember with any clarity was a scene in which she admitted to me that her career was bullshit, and laughing ridiculously, air-humped at my leg shouting the title of her book.

It was titled, You're A Lesbian! I'm A Man!

I was in Dallas County jail, which in my dream was merely the top floor of a high end mall. Those of us in-the-know inmates knew how to breach security to access the lower floors during free time. I happened upon a large, friendly-looking green robot with a "Tracer Hand '08" sign tacked to the side of its motorized tracks. It was obviously just a costume and it was furry and had a pleasant demeanor. Somewhere around the chest was a sign telling em to push a button for more info. I did, and a Matchbox car was deposited out of a slot underneath the button. The car was wrapped in some literature which I didn't read. Instead I asked "Are you Tracer Hand?" and the Hand himself pulled off the head of his costume and lo and behold. I told him I though he lived in NYC or Engoland or somewhere and he said no, he was born and raised in Dallas. He asked how I knew of him and I said something vague about the internet, not really caring to go so far as mentioning my ILX affiliation or screen name. Ha, I just remembered TH was sipping from a bottle of MD 20/20 Orange Jubilee and sweating a bit. He also expressed interest in checking out the new several-thousand sq ft Madden Superstore dedicated to all things Football and/or EA Sports. Most of my dreams are not this weird.

i had a dream that i was making coffee and then my roomies were talking about jergins having gotten mugged and asked me to ask him something, and i was like 'huh? you know jergins?' and they said, 'yeah, he's the guy that uploads all the funny stuff to that world music thread!' so i assumed they were ire googlers/lurkers but secretly had a giant fear that they knew all about my ilx life.

i dreamed i moved to london for work and had plans to meet up with Dom P and Noodle Vague for a pint (actually not sure if either of these dudes resides in London?). i told them that i had joined a gym, that i was going there directly from the office and then i would come meet them at the pub. they (apparently already on the piss) proceeded to inform me about what a knob and a wanker i was.

i dreamt i met nick a last night. it was some kind of non-organised ilx meetup and someone was like hey that's nick a, and i was like wow that's nick a cool! but we never had a chance to talk to each other before i woke up :\

I decided to get a PhD in literature at a North Carolina university AT THE SAME TIME as getting my JD in New York. I was going to commute back and forth every day (like straight from class to class). The NC university had a campus that looked like a woodsy summer camp, and there were herds of moose roaming the premises.

Andrew Farrell was at an English seaside postcard stand with Simon Pegg and their friends, and had grown a fluffy moustache so giant he could tuck it behind his ears to keep it out of the bitter wind
