I got a bit drunk last night in celebration of Arsenal losing, and will be out tomorrow night, so I think I'll have a night in and watch Big Brother instead.

She was great! All very Berlin and minimal but lushly melodic in places as well. Also I want to marry her, especially after seeing her standing there texting people in the DJ booth.

Lindstrom & Prinz Thomas surprised me as well. Much chunkier sound than I was expecting and it left me going "why didn't the album sound like that?" Unfortunately they ended an hour earlier than they were scheduled to, we were in the other room at the time and didn't get to see whether they played I Feel Space. Gah.

Weirdest moment of the night = Erol playing a set of big chunky rocky electro (Justice and Vitalic and lots of stuff that sounded like them) only to drop Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name in the middle of it. The place went fucking mental.

SPOTTING - TRAINS! 'way out' is so massive.

i was totally feeling lindstrom - all those dirty funk bass grooves topped off by music box stylings at the exact mid-point of tweeness and ket-blankness. unfortunately anna-marie was hating it, but the other room was ace anyway (APART FROM ratm, have you NO SHAME!).

ellen allien was ridiculously beautiful - i couldn't keep my eyes off her! her white halter-neck top was gorgeous, and her hair looked fab too. she looked like she was having a lot of fun, esp when she started to sing along to her own vocals.

yes. i go to t-bar regularly. sunday the day after a villalobos session will be funny. it will be full of twitch ket-afterparters from about 2pm - 7pm and then start to peter out. ricard will look something like this...

yeah, i'm quite tempted by the t-bar on sunday (midday til midnight apparently), but i'm already going to john cage stuff in the afternoon and lightning bolt in the evening, so not sure it'll fit in...

My friends are playing at a bar named Fluid tomorrow nite, round the corner from Fabric. Usual suspects' dance music, basically. Night's called Short Circuit, used to do very good buisness back in our student daze.

annabel, ian, sophie, robin and i went, with some of annabel's work colleagues. it was FUCKING AWESOME! we ended up drinking lager on the pavement of gray's inn road at 8.30am like proper homeless people. impressively katie also went out raving, still with her cast on.

Saturday at Fabric was great. Good little Sonar carry-on. I didnt make it to Public Life but am sure it would have been equally debauched.

I'm in Isle of Wight this weekend, but next weekend there is a lot on. Cocoon 2 @ The End, and Tales of the Jackalope in South Derbyshire.
