amazingly found 2 pigeons last night, something like 34 left. and it was only a random visit. one was embarrassingly right outside one of my safehouses.

yeah that took me a bunch of tries too. getting a good position is the hard part. I decided to kill every cop in the city if they walked into my little corridor and eventually they stopped coming.

it took two days to download, but it is good to be back in san andreas again.

compare this to game (£8) and gamestation (£9) and that's quite a good price

I'm not sure, but a lot of the driving missions will not let you damage the guy's car until you have chased the guy for awhile, so if you can stay on him long enough, that might help. Focus more on the chase and less on shooting him up for awhile.

Ugh that Snow Job mission

I booked it out the front and jumped in the water, swam to a less hostile location a bit up the shore, and then lost my wanted level. However, this bit from a gamefaqs walkthrough sounds pretty nice:

"When you go to do it, instead of going to the main entrance where there is a car and two guys standing, go to the very south of the island (and take a car with you for a getaway). The reason for this is, there's a ladder at the back of the abandoned hospital which takes you to the roof! You can get clear shots of all the guys who shoot from the roof from here. Its also way easier to pick people off from the bottom since enemy AI is somewhat lacking for shooting you from a height.

Once you climb up, you'll be faced with a few guys on the roof who you can kill. Carefully make your way across the top of the roof past the thin walls and you can get straight to the room with the cocaine (since its an open-top room), while only killing a minimal amount of people (I killed around 6-7). Pick up the cocaine, and it'll get to the cutscene where the cops arrive.

If you did it right, there should be lots of enemies remaining when the cops arrive. The cops spend most of their time gunning down these gang members which gives you a great opportunity to escape. Outside of the room with the cocaine keep going straight to the end of the hall, and there's a red wheel-like cannister that you can jump on. From the cannister, if you jump southwards back
up onto the wall, you'll just about be on the roof again. From here, you can carefully make your way to the ladder you came up.

You'll now be outside of the hospital whilst the cops are still killing all the gang members. I ran across the opposite way around the hospital, grabbed a car and made a getaway.

All in all it made the mission a whole lot easier I managed to complete the mission without taking a single bullet wound."

In an environment where I can't see all the enemies (and they don't show up on the radar!!) and where sometimes they can sneak up on me and worse yet I don't know where they're shooting from, I actually get physically nauseous inna motion sickness stylee. There aren't anymore missions like that, are there?

I don't remember them not being on the radar, but yeah that's a hefty one. I thought most of the missions were pretty much like this.

Great thing is you can return to the museum and shoot chunks out of the dinosaur bones!

Museum is pretty fun in multiplay if you can get some other people to join you there.

where is the museum? because i'm thinking it would be an ace place to lure the cops, if you were a crook, in a game of cops n crooks...

Not sure. I restarted when the trophies became live, but I was only about 2 hours into it anyway.

For ps3 trophies to work, you do indeed have to completely restart your game (by deleting your old game save).

although, if these DLC are nothing more than extra missions and considering how repetetive and boring the original missions were I may not be all that bothered.

that's some achievement, I could never have done it in three weeks I get too distracted with blowing stuff up or driving around endlessly admiring the graphics.

so i started the game again today, to activate the trophies and obtain the other ending [ADMIN: SPOILER YANKED], and seems there was some other stuff I never noticed. I didn't know you could turn your headlamps on and off, and the 'letting someone go' technique is not just to walk away - they have to be flashing red and blue and then you press either of two buttons.

and i never realised that michelle never gets drunk when you take her out drinking.

I love the fact I still discover new things every day. I, for example, stood in front of an SUV and shot the driver through the window, and his limp body pressed the gas and drove the car over me, killing me since i was low on health. I guess I deserved it.

Yeah, but PC gamers are going to be getting it next Wednesday, so no spoilers is nice.

it's been out for six months on other systems, I would suggest avoiding this thread altogether if you've only just started playing it and don't want to hear other people discussing this games novelties.

Just beat it, chose revenge, man, that last mission is effing annoying. I srsly wish there was more than one checkpoint in it.

In other SPOILER spoilers, after I decided to let FreeDarko live, Brucie called me up to go out, sort of to cheer up Niko. Saw a show, dropped him off at his place, and sitting in my idling car, I held a grenade till I blew up.

Also: Goldfrapp's "Ooh La La" is in one of the buildings? Anyone remember which one?
