First time I've noticed a full movie. It was a good way to kill an afternoon off work.

Fantastic. I've never seen this film, but have thought for a long time that I need to.

There's so many holes it's not worth seriously thinking about them. It's a movie, a ridiculous movie at that. This is not a bad thing.

this movie and the dialogue quoted herein (esp. g-kit's) rule. i should be disturbed by the number of swayze movies i like. maybe he's the BAD (as in Paul Fussell) generation's gene kelly. i'm not sure what basis i have for his aesthetic distinction, but don't be lumping ally sheedy in with MSM (eh) or Lori Petty (meh). is californication a post-point break record?

Had this outta the library for a week. Didn't watch it.

Oh wow, I didn't know Concrete Blonde was on the soundtrack.

Still, it's hilariously easy to spot the exact moments where Adam Carolla or somebody would go off on eviscerating how stupid this movie gets.

When Billy Dalton, military special ops and star surfer, is disqualified from the pro-surfing tour, he takes off for the coast of Bali looking for the perfect wave. While there hes recruited by a private security force who are trying to find a gang known as The Bush Administration, surfing outlaws and modern day pirates who work like The Ex-Presidents, a bank robbing crew from Malibu twenty years ago.

I'm guessing this might not be quite such a beautiful film.

for all the exxxtreme-to-the-maxxxx action on display in this trailer i bet there's nothing as exciting as the sequence in the original where keanu chases swayze on foot over fences and thru alleys and houses, which remains fucking amazing

also this luke bracey guy does an amazing job of sucking the life from the screen every time he appears on it
