Yup. This model you can get new for £550 so I wouldn't go for this one in particular.

nah, I'm not gonna drop £500 on a bike. my tentative budget is £300. was reading on bikeradar and they said the best beginner road bikes were the decathlon b'twin sport and giant scr4. I'll keep my eye on ebay

I don't understand that lugged Bianchi $5000 thing. If you have $5000 and want a super pretty bike couldn't you just get a custom frame and build it up how you like?

Me either, that gets you a titanium IF with a custom paint job.

OK so it is only $3,300, which only gets you a steel IF. but $3,300 is a lot to pay for a bike with campag veloce.

incidentally i've been checking out the IF website - i could go me one of those.

£1800 for that Charge frame. Nice though - maybe the prettiest titanium bike I've seen lately.

that colnago is being done by one of the big bike shop franchises over here (w/ dura ace) for $8,700 in the local currency! sheeeeeeeeeeit.

The crime is not the price but the fact that it is made for Campag (specifically athena)

saw KHS track bike in a pearlescent take on celeste blue today, was hott. sorta made me want to take up track!

hunt3r i think it sneaks thru the 3:1 rule by having the brake mounted to that head tube bulkhead thing - they can argue it's there for structural reasons
