friday night

never heard of this drink before, and wow it looks like a bad thing to be drinking sitting at home! or, possibly, at all.

sitting at home on a friday night can be underrated if the friday night involves tacos from the taco truck (w/hot salsa verde), margaritas and the red sox winning.

i had taco truck tacos today. chicken & pork. and some mexican corn. damn shit is tasty.
i haven't had dinner yet. we have like 2.5 cartons of eggs for some reason, so i think i have to eat eggs & sausage with toast & grilled tomatoes.

ian is that on a stick? the corn, i mean? i saw some girl walking down bedford w/ corn on a stick and was v v curious.

replace "taco truck tacos" with "banh mi" and we are all on the same page

tonight was mexican food (he: calabacita burrito, me: chicken mole poblano burrito, us: fried plantains) at loteria grill in hollywood. then we got our parking validated by buying a coffee cream puff at the hollywood & highland beard papa. we also wandered through the virgin megastore and didn't buy anything.

it's steamed or boiled corn then rolled in a mayo sauce, grated dry cheese & chili powder, more or less. v v good. from taco truck on bedford, not very spicy. from redhook ballfields, v v spicy & also drenched in lime juice for extra tingle

watching dvds of la jetée/sans soleil and greenaway's a zed & two noughts. after that, sleeping off a weird week. saturday afternoon: volunteering at one of the obama campaign field offices.

i watched la jetee & sans soleil about a week ago. it's a good thing to do.

i am STILL at work, but at least i can drink beer here. i feel so crappy and tired i might just take car home.
i got some LPs today. and when i get home, i will listen to them and eat a pork chop.

i just had dinner with my flatmates and the people living downstairs, which was nice. now sitting around on ilx, maybe i'll watch a movie or apply for more jobs online or something. planning on applying for a shit job in person at 11 am tomorrow.
