Most PC game franchises are shitty. Civ is shitty, Myst was shitty, The Sims made a fun first impression but ultimately sucks, and World of Warcraft is for people who want to manage a bunch of panels but are too stupid for the Adobe CS suite.

my friends, that is HERETIC, predecessor to Hexen, and of it one might say "Well, it was better than Rise of the Triad."

The game was reviewed in 1995 in Dragon #217 by Jay & Dee in the "Eye of the Monitor" column. Jay gave the game 2 out of 5 stars, while Dee gave the game 3 stars (but suggested that "if you loved Doom, you'd call this" 5 stars).[1]

(bought the steam rockstar pack so I'm currently replaying San Andreas while also playing Gay Tony for the first time. Turns out finding your own way from A to B while learning the maps was a lot more fun than just following a dotted line).

The updated graphics in Super Mario All-Stars are awful. The parallax scrolling in particular absolutely ruins Mario 3.
