segues and suchlike

Depends on the song, sometimes I'll do a manual fade out like on Rocketship's "Hey Hey Girl" which goes straight into the next song. Or sometimes I'll just cut it.

I've gotten really good with my current tape deck at minimizing the space between songs, to the point where it can almost sound professionally segued. I'm sure there are recipients of my tapes cursing me now for making their 'skip' function useless.

Now all I need is a turntable I can cue ...

I'm with duane (hgfdhgfhh@£$7ytr8.bn)... my tape player crapped out on me... haven't made a mixtape in some time now. Definitely need to get a new one, just ain't got a pot to piss in at the moment. But once I do? Oh, I've got some tricks up my sleeve! Who wants some action?
