It takes a certain amount of imagination, as well as having listened to alot of stuff, to extend the range of possibilities stored in the memory banks. The so-called 'telepathic rapport' is a matter of being able to respond to any situation as quickly (as in 'receptively', NOT as in speed of playing) and confidently as possible, and the more resources you have knowledge-wise the more this comes through. Sixth sense on high alert is what makes a good rhythm player.

A sense of swing is something I have heard said of a sign of good drumming.
So would add that in to intuitive interplay with bassist/others.
Otherwise likely to sound too technical and cold.
