thirteen years pass...

May as well drop this item here - Fred Schneider talks about his TV watching habits over his lifetime and flips through a copy of TV Guide from 1968 on the June 15 episode of the "TV Guidance Counselor Podcast." It's a very entertaining hour, all about TV and not music but he does say something about the B-52's 1979 appearance on SNL. Fred really reps for the '50s sitcom I Married Joan starring Joan Davis as an alternative to I Love Lucy.

In 1998 I visited the Barcelona Hard Rock Cafe, where there was this tiny little Kurt Cobain autograph next to an enormous 'Just Fred' poster

Got halfway thru that podcast and the host's annoying hyped-up-nerd tendency to do all the talking/step on Fred S.'s answers drove me crazy.
