two, i think. though it looked like there was good storage place in the back for large pets.

i saw the guy leaving and i just didn't feel like asking him a million questions about his vehicle.

they are having some benefit road race here. maybe he's a part of it.

lol, the road race is a benefit for some children's charity, and there is this HUGE banner over main street that reads:

having known more than a few, I kinda hate novelty car owners. almost as much as novelty bikers.

i've got a thing about those guys - and it's almost always guys - who ride those bikes flat on their backs. i forget what they are called. it's irrational of me. those guys always have "interesting" beards and mustaches too.

i've probably even started a thread on it. i should shut up already. i just KNOW they are smug about their cool lying horizontally in the road bikes!

(they scare the hell out of me too. who wants to be eye level with a truck's tires on a busy road???)

they scare me! people ride them on the road! with cars all around them. and everybody i see riding one looks like a math professor. and i have inadequacy issues about math.

no no, scarier is recumbent bikes with TODDLER SIDECAR!

they're actually superior to regular bikes in several regards. a lot of people who ride them love riding bicycles, and prefer recumbents for various health and comfort reasons. the design is also used a lot for bikes for the disabled. so you should feel bad. really, really bad.

but see that's why i get the smug vibe. like: ha, you sad people with your old-fashioned upright bikes. you have no idea how much better these bikes are aerodynamically and for your back, etc, etc.

yeah, but anyone on a recumbent is almost guaranteed to have crazy reflective and light equipment. goes with the territory.

my late uncle was a user of dvorak and i never cease to be impressed by people who learn it and use it. also it's sometimes hilarious to watch them try typing on a qwerty keypad. xp to JL

yeah, pretty much. you would be surprised how strong the urge to flush is.
