I’m hearing great things about it. seems like at worst it’s the Vatican version of something like the contender maybe but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

I read the book of this when it came out and it wasn’t super memorable (apart from a gesture I shall simply refer to as 🫴🏻🤌🏻) but I will 100% watch this because it had a lot in it that would film better if cut down. Also, aesthetic game is huge.

Thirty years ago someone like Harold Becker or Phillip Noyce would've directed it and released in spring and no one would at all be talking about it as an Oscar frontrunner, but here we are.
