That was how I got out of jury duty the last time I was called, a couple of years ago. I explained to the judge that I was a freelance journalist who had to be able to pursue individual stories on my own time so I couldn't "take off work" and they let me go. Good thing, too; it was some kind of child sexual abuse trial that was projected to take six to eight weeks, as I recall, and even if I'd been collecting a regular paycheck I wouldn't want to spend two months hearing about that.

obviously tonight will be all about that truth tweet. insane that he is still thinking about it. in court for a trial and this is what he fumes about. i never thought i would be rooting for jimmy kimmel but he is really getting to him!

It's funny that every late night host rips into Trump but Kimmel is the only one that seems to really get under his skin. I think we all know what this means — Trump was a big fan of The Man Show.

it helps that jimmy's jokes are the funniest of late night. he must have some good writers. and he's less polite than the rest. he calls trump a scumbag and the like.

Maybe it's because Kimmel seems the closest (of the Late Night hosts) to the type of guy who might be a Trump fan.
