Don't find him funny now but I thought the original 97-2000 HBO show was hilarious at the time. It was just so weird and unlike anything else that was around. I only just now, when I went to the wiki page to confirm the years, learned that Sasquatch was John C. Riely omg. Think the last thing I saw Back in was school of rock lol.

Grandparents took one of the kids to see "Jesus Christ Superstar" last week. Made me go back to find "Jeepers Creepers" from Mr. Show. Jables was pretty tolerable back then!

birthdays are great, it's really nice to celebrate the day someone was born. the bar for me to care about your birthday is not that high! i don't have to like you, i don't even have to know you. but you have to be alive.

birthdays are great, but having birthweeks where you do different activities every day and tell yr friends "come to whichever you want or come to all" = dud.

not saying that having a b'day celebration w/ family one day, friends another = a big deal, but like the co-worker harbl once talked about who basically spent an entire month celebrating their 30th birthday and had like 15 celebrations of it

Agree with this 1000%. I will occasionally use the phrase "anniversary of [PERSON]'s birth" if I want to call out some artist whose work I admire, but that's it.

We definitely need to be stricter about allowing that. I say you have to specify "heavenly birthday" AND you have to have known the deceased intimately. Nancy Sinatra recently sent one of those out to Peter Fonda and it was too cute to object to.
