CARGO SHORTS

when did cargo shorts become a "thing" - they have been for as long as i can remember but im kinda young

daria is otm about plaid shorts. the only thing is that they look infinitely better than cargo shorts so i'll still rock plaid shorts from time to time

KNOW WHAT IS THE WORST? sooooo many (frat) dudes will wear plaid shorts WITH A HORIZONTALLY STRIPED POLO. shit makes me incensed

ha i saw some dad the other day wearing cargo shorts and i thought "ugh, that shit is still around?"

I bought a pair of cargo shorts at uniqlo because I needed shorts at the last minute. They're really not bad -- they have a slim line and the pockets don't stick out too much. I think the problem is not really cargo shorts so much as baggy cargo shorts.

what abt anti cargo people, anti argo pants, anti cargo whatever you got

im not strictly anti short but i do think many mens could benefit from investing in some lightweight summer pants

i don't own any cargo shorts, but i favor comfort over style always

i wear shorts if im in a chill state, i cant just wear them around like nothings going on, if i lived in a super hot place prob tho

also for athletics

I liked the fact that in Tel Aviv everyone gets that it is hot as fuck and just drifts around in shorts, loose lightweight shirts and sandals, whereas in NYC you have to pretend it's not hot as balls even when it is.

Shorts are weekend attire in Miami. I tend not to wear them at night though unless I'm chilling at someone's place

fyi i actually own some lightweight summer pants that are cargo pants i know i will now be sugg banned, rightly so

feel like all cargo garments should be taxed extra per pocket as heavy machinery

i thought it was p lol when designers tried to 'bring back' cargo pants recently, any time spent irl would've shown them cargo pants/shorts never went away
