I’ve been checking out a bunch of music (and this thread is a great help) but I realized over the last few years that I’d leaned on some friends to guide me through events/festivals and then I’d be hyped about a good dj set or performance

ok I’m going in circles now but I first started listening to Barker after I shazamed a track that was playing in the pre-show music over the system at one of the last two shows I went to in March 2020!

Oh yeah that Beatrice Dillon/LF/Senegalese drumming record is crazy, I need to give that some more listens.
