at least Frank Zappa didn't pretend to be a socialist and would speak completely openly about not giving his band a penny of the royalties. I saw PS back in the late 80s supporting the Butthole Surfers. They were completely fucking abominable, I always wondered how they attained the level of mild competence they later displayed and I'd guess that the subsequent addition of Martin Duffy played a large part in that. As noted above, at least Zappa was honest about treating everyone around him like shit and didn't try to pass himself off as a socialist!
