It's been pointed out recently that (anecdotally, at least) a lot of musicians marketed as "indie" come from privileged backgrounds.

I can't really tell who the people in the picture are though. Iggy Azalea, mid-period Edward Furlong, and mayyyyyyybe Grimes?

One of them is Samia, I think.

And Julian Casablancas?

I think maybe it's done in a purposefully dank (?) style

but yeah quite a few indie musicians with famous parents, no big shock but there were some thinkpieces on it a while ago
