I was in the 92nd percentile for the Urban Planning one-day, which sounds good until I tell you I was the librarian for the American Planning Association for six years.

I really lucked out and somehow made it into the Latinx finals.

Me too! I played all three MLs, and I would not have guessed that would be the one I'd do best in.

i wished i had joined the latinx and midwest ones, i wouldn't have done too badly! i somehow limped into the lgbt finals and got absolutely bodied though, like bottom 50

through 21 matches i have 101 CAA

the top TCA-scorer in my rundle has gotten 100 right

Not sure how it happened, but I'm sitting at the top of an A rundle for the first time ever this late in the season. I think maybe the league that I was moved into last season (along with Leee and NA) is a little less competitive? Anyway, I've probably jinxed it by mentioning it, but still crossing my fingers.

That's sort of my take, mainly because our placement in the last MSC was pretty bad (with the caveat of course that not everyone plays it). Then again, I have a TCA > CAA only because I've benefited from THREE forfeit wins this season, so maybe we're just in a less dedicated league?

hell yeah! my all-time best is 120 but I only finished 8th that season.

Couple of relevant 1DSs today

Bit surprised I placed as high as I did (but not that high really) on XTC, also that as far as I can see jaymc was the only other ILX0r to play.

First day of new season people, don’t forget to submit!

Got my customary day 1 loss out of the way.

Well, I submitted a MiniLeague proposal which is a decision that, if accepted, I'm sure I will come to regret.

This turns out to be true (hey it turns out writing, testing, and curating 78 questions is WAY more work than 12), but signups will be open for the Online Content ML in a couple of weeks regardless, so keep your eyes open. (There will, sadly, be no questions on the ILX forums).

Also the LL Championship results start posting tomorrow but I'm trying not to think too much about that because I did awful this year, unless everybody else also found it way harder than prior years.

I did not do very well in the championship, but it was my first year competing, so I have nothing to measure it against.

I had a fantastic time working on an ML, but it was still a ton of work for most of us involved even for me, even though all I was doing was mostly fact-checking and writing recaps.

Round 1 of the champs was an unmitigated disaster for me, but I did well enough on round 2 to salvage 73rd place after 'day 1'

As I expected, I did not make The Cut.

Thanks! Q6 was, if you'll excuse the pun, my moneymaker; it was required reading for a class that I pointedly didn't bother crack open, but I still went to lectures and it must've osmosed into my brain decades later.

I was a little worried I wouldn’t get credit for PETER MACKINTOSH for Q12.

I knew Q6 because it seems to come up a lot, although I never read myself. My should have monied were Q3 and Q8.
