it depends on the snake, but i imagine the snake's wide-open mouth not being wide enough to inhale the meatball, and so it just kind of pushes the meatball and rolls it toward the lip of the plate

serious q: how does that snake know that what's inside the egg is tasty

there are species of snicks that mainly eat eggs! it is as close as they get to being vegetarian. i looked into it when i briefly had snake fever last year, but did not want to feed little living things to anybody. since then however i have become infested with mice so i am reconsidering my stance re: sneyks
