<i>Polydistortion</i> and its follow-up <i>This is Normal</i> are the only albums that represent GusGus as the original music/graphic design/cinema collective. After that, the lineup changed entirely, and post-1999 GusGus is kind of like that rock band that still uses the old name even though there is only one original member left.

There are lots of stylistic and line up changes but I’d be hard pressed to pick a favourite, you’ve still got Attention and Arabian Horse to look forward to.

there was a dip in quality around Forever and 24/7 but Arabian Horse was an amazing return to form and kinda crystallized their sound for the most part
