James Bradberry's own take: “I pulled on his jersey. They called it. I was hoping they would let it ride.”

they ignored worse holds earlier in the game, robbed us of an actual finish
referees are human and not perfect and nothing is black and white
Except their outfits, which are literally black and white

Right, as is often said if you break down the film of any given play in an NFL game chances are you'll find a hold somewhere. I notice it all the time on replays. Certainly when I played in high school I got away with a lot of holds, and I got held a lot. Everyone in the game instinctively kinda knows where the line is even if they do get called sometimes. That's what makes reffing the sport so difficult, you have to let some things slide because otherwise you're throwing 40 flags a game. idk maybe they just get galaxy brain going into these end of game situations, where the talk of how the NFL is scripted or whatever really does get to them, so they go out there thinking they're gonna call it as they see it regardless of the game being on the line. maybe its confirmation bias but I feel like we really do get a lot of unusual reffing in the last 2 minutes of a game. if nothing else it would be cool if they could maybe discuss these potentially history-altering calls a bit before committing to them. I mean up until that point it really was one of the greatest Super Bowls I've ever seen.
