i don't really feel happy with it as a representative ballot, i was kind out of listening to music in 2022 and i know i missed a ton of good stuff, especially good stuff outside of my immediate wheelhouse. but i wanted to throw some points to the albums i did hear and enjoy

i kind of hate it when people are like "i was surprised ____ didn't place!" bc it's always something that's obvious to me why it didn't place (usually it's some weird niche album) but if i had one of those it was the aldous harding album. i thought she was reasonably popular and that that album was well-liked

yeah I was a little surprised by that too, but I think the response on her thread was a little cooler than her previous album. I personally warmed up to it and now like it just as much as Designer

actually, i would've put the beths somewhere in the lower half of my ballot. it's absurd to correct a hypothetical ballot, but they're just so good and so sweet, 2 AM aches in such a relatable way
