i figured other folks would rep for it. i liked it, but was just into other stuff in the second half of the year.

but ya: it's fun, good, and worthwhile.

I'll admit it's a while since I've listened to it, but my memory of a golden summer evening with it was enough to win my vote.

I must check this out. It totally passed me by at the time. I've been listening to Prekop's "Comma" album a lot lately again. That was a lockdown favourite.

This allbum is so so good

yeah, it's one of my all-time "not my normal zone but i love this so, so much" albums.

co-sign. I'd normally listen to something like this once or twice, but this one really withstands unlimited repeats.
(another album in this sweet spot for me is also a tortoise-adjacent project: Mondays at the Enfield Tennis Academy)

thread revive prompted a revisit: yep, still good as heck. so satisfying too ― even for these guys, it's a peak.

cover also has me thinking of a thread idea: album covers that perfectly represent the music.

(maybe it's already been done?)

(also i may be speaking from experience: mute the proper audio + play this album as the soundtrack for a "funny cats" compilation youtube video. it works.)
