On the contrary, I think they're extremely underrated, meanwhile people rave about rubbish like bananas.

apples are totally overrated tbh ... like comparing the quantity of apple-related content to my perceived hierarchy of fruit ... nah, mate, apples are like the Wilco of fruit or idk some decent, respectful white band like, the Beatles ... bananas aren't all that great either, but they are more versatile than apples, (can be used to make sweet creamy things in place of dairy products) so they deserve some extra cred for that.

I love this post almost as much as oranges

Anyone acting like this isn't a close call needs to get their head and tongue screwed on. It really comes down to the day, the phase of the moon, the direction of the wind and the alignment of the stars which fruit is better at any given moment. That said, oranges overtake apples in the figurative space due to their tang and connection to the spicier side of life.

What important nutrients do apples even have? ... I don't want to be rockist about fruit but, oranges are rich in Vitamin C, so they are kinda more "important"?
