My dog thinks he is tough but in fact he is very small and woollen with round, shiny eyes.
He would blow kisses at the coyotes and try and get them to chase him. Then he would let them drink his water while he sang 'Imagine'.

if someone said this to me in a bar after a particularly long day i would make a secret mental note that they are probably the greatest person i have ever met.

the dentist's nurse correctly guessed my star sign recently, claiming she has a gift, but my file was up on the computer screen in the surgery when she did it and she was standing next to it, behind me, when she was talking about it so i was extremely skeptical, though i faked some awe because i felt sad for her.

when i arrived she had said, 'how's bub?' and when i said calmly, 'i don't have any children' she went into huge these long profuse apologies and ended up saying it was probably for the best and that children are completely overrated, she betrayed her own children just to make me feel better when i was quite peaceful about the whole thing anyway, i told i think children are very nice and in the end i let a small shadow cross my face so she would change the subject, which she did, to astrology.

I led a girl on for a long time whom I liked as a friend but I really didn't want to make sweet love to her. Eventually I got married to someone else and she got really angry at me and wrote a "book" of sorts wherein I was the evil antagonist who kills her lover, etc.

These boundary kinds of things do need to be made clear, I have learned.

Olden but golden:

I had a dream last night that I was chatting to my puppy after he had returned from a walk with Mr. estela.
Me (happy high-pitched squeaky voice): Harry! what did you do on your walk?
Harry (cheery puppy voice): I chased a bird and some crabbits!
Me: Crabbits??!!
Harry: Yes, some crabbits!

Apparently, 75% of office workers have a "workplace spouse" - a fellow employee that you have an intense relationship with due to the fact that you spend most of your working week together, and whom you would try to protect to ensure that they remain close to you and in the relationship. And I presume the gender that you're attracted to.

I think I have one of these workplace spouses and our relationship has been getting weirder in recent times to the point of outright flirting.

In short: HOW TO COPE

Hi. I've tried to clean up my act, and in spite of the occasional grievous error (which I've profusely apologised for) such as JFC.jpg, I think I'm largely succeeding. Whether this is a sign of belated maturity or a reaction to the sword of Damocles imminently pendant over my very ILX existence remains to be seen; I'd rather hope to think it's the former, but if SB has had a positive effect, it HAS been to impress the value of thinking before posting with somewhat more assiduousness than I'd been exercising beforehand. 3 SBs gained in the past 4 months (at last count; can this please be updated in case I've caused any significant offence in the past few days), as opposed to 90 in the previous half-year, bears testament to this. I'm seriously trying to stave off the remaining nine, even indefinitely, if I can.

Anyhow, enough of the self promotion. I've been banned from 77 since before my temp ban, following an offence that although serious (reposting a non-77 user to 77) I think I've served enough time for. I maintain I was made something of an example of, and also maintain that my offence was borne out of stupidity rather than malice, stupidity which I am slowly weaning out of my system. This sort of self-analysis can come over a bit jerkish so I won't press my case any further, but it'd be cool if you could let me back onto 77 kthx :)
