A friend of mine sang "Horny" last weekend at karaoke and it was a really good choice

Last time, I did a bad thing: I repeated "Superstition" from the time before.

In my defence, that was a full band called "Bandaoke" so.

I pulled off "Bitch is Back" last week.

"After the Love is Gone" is getting better but the key change initially fucks with me

I thought about "Bitch is Back" but couldn't tell if it wasn't too high for me.

it sits right at the top of mine but I've somehow developed a rock 'n roll rasp in my highest register in the last few years and it makes it work.

but breathing is tricky on that chorus.

Cool. Wonder if there is a way to fake that rasp without smoking or making oneself hoarse etc

morbs sang WL at a karaoke party i had once ;_;

TK was thrown up by the YT algorithm after another song i did (which escapes me now), so i ended up claiming it. fun and fairly easy song to sing!

That must have been after certain posts in the archive I came across recenty.

Did 'Teenage Kicks' at live band karaoke, and it's my one shining karaoke moment that I can say the crowd was like really into. It's a winner, for sure.

Here are a couple I keep considering but then I think why bother: "Johnny and Mary" and "I Wanna Be Sedated."

One time, we were in town, and I could hear "Teenage Kicks" in the distance, however my wife said "that's you" as in it was coming from my mobile. So I get it out, and find it's literally me from an old band practice.

I did that as a duet, my first and last time doing karaoke. I thought it was terrible. People told me our harmonies were great. Won’t do it again. Will never have that recipe again.
