Hutcher is representing 24 ticket resellers in a lawsuit against Madison Square Garden Entertainment. Their season tickets to the Knicks and Rangers were not renewed because of their positions as sellers, which the lawsuit argues is against the New York Arts and Cultural Affairs Law.

Nine days after that lawsuit was filed, Hutcher received a letter from Hal Weidenfeld, the senior vice president for legal and business affairs at Madison Square Garden Entertainment. The letter barred Hutcher and every lawyer at the firm from entering any of the company’s venues until the litigation was resolved.
