Despite all the current pitching (and winning) problems, it’s not like the people who left are doing much better. Walker and Bassitt haven’t been good so far, Degrom is on the IL again, and if you wanted to sign Rodon he’d also be on the shelf.

Correa’s current awful start would also not have been tolerated in NYC after all the hoopla surrounding his physical. Brett Baty is looking better and better each day.

The pitching has been really poor, especially when they have a big lead. When the pitching has been good they seem to be unable to get any hits lately.

i just have no idea what cohen's press conference will accomplish

is he gonna blame himself/his front office for giving all this guaranteed money to apparently shitty players? is he gonna blame the players for sucking? is he going to say that he believes in this group of players but they're just struggling at the moment?
