yeah lauri had a good year but is very shaky and they didnt care about sexton at all. the picks are whatever. really interested to see how donovan and garland look together. two undersized guards who need the ball to work, whos gonna play off ball?

idk having all the picks/swaps unprotected is pretty rich

having two ball handlers is good and even nearly a prerequisite in todays game, not that theres no risk their theyre both going to have to adjust, but where id worry about that backcourt is on defense xp

yes both of them are 6'1"

they can stagger with rubio theoretically, not sure how much left he has on D going forward tho

guess they figured they can make up for it with their twin towers, also maybe thinking mitchell can improve, theres no reason he shouldnt be a good defender hes super strong and athletic with cartoon wings

sexton is a weirdly efficient gunner that everyone hates. seems like he could work on the right team/situation (not the knicks)

garland is a great shooter tho so i bet he'll end up off ball more. not having any shooting at the 4/5 positions is not modern ball.

mobely could develop as a shooter hes showed some touch

non zero chance he turns into an mvp level player, felt like he was just casually doing things no one knew he could do last year

i mean this all sounds nice but they were only two games out of 6th last year and that was only because jarrett allen broke his hand & they lost a million games in the final month of the season. their expectations have to be greater than that his year after this trade

& as for all the time they have, they have mitchell for three seasons which means they basically have next offseason to get the team to east contender status or all the whispers about him leaving in FA are gonna start up

the big bully ball thing was a cute gimmick but if mobley is that dude then they should be looking to trade allen for a real 3/4 type player

if i was the cavs i'd be offering allen to the raptors for siakam or OG
