I really don’t see what people find so amazing about “That’s the Joint”. I mean, the song’s great and all, but so are a lot of other songs on this list. Voting “Adventures of Grandmaster Flash on the Wheels of Steel”.

Obviously "Ant Rap" and "Der Kommissar" were too good for the list. Of the two my vote would have gone to both of them. Adam Ant pioneered a hip-hop / world beat crossover approach that could so easily have been an alternative future for hip-hop and Falco of course invented gangster rap.
