Your favorite 2D fighter (a thinly-veiled Darkstalkers thread)

I am about a nanosecond away from updating my PS+ subscription because I found an updated version of Darkstalkers: Night Warriors in the game library I can’t access yet

I think Darkstalkers 1-3 (the latter under it's original title, Vampire Saviour) are all available pretty cheap as part of some Capcom Arcade thing

All this 2D fighter gaming got me hankering for Marvel vs Capcom 2, so I hauled my PS2 out from the attic, got everything set up and.... it no longer worked :(

The new comp also has Cyberbots, a giant robot-themed fighter; I haven't gotten into it, but it's provided yet another example of "Oh, so THAT'S where that guy in MvC2 came from...."
