really frustrating, it feels like a move to make it a memorable mix but it stands on its own merits perfectly fine without it

I'm talking about stuff like the mix that Boards of Canada did for Warp a few years ago, Time Is Away, Optimo's cassette series from last year and their more restrained mixes. Sold did an ambient RA mix that I really liked too

ah nice. i really liked "shared meanings", the fabriclive CD, and especially "different circles" (which was done in collaboration with logos)
